• Soak grains for 6–8 hours
• Use 10x water and boil in an open vessel
• Do not use a pressure cooker
• Do not add salt while boiling
• Boil for 20 minutes, let it cool, and then consume
• Use in khichdi, pongal, millet rice, or grain salads
